TILTCUE · PRIVACY POLICY
Quiet monitoring.
Only on this Mac.
Effective September 23, 2026. This policy covers TiltCue for Mac, developed by Gal Itach and published by Valorem Apps.
Motion stays on your Mac
TiltCue uses compatible headphone-motion data to notice sustained changes in head tilt relative to your chosen reference. Motion is processed on your Mac. TiltCue does not use a camera or microphone, require an account, show advertising, or include third-party analytics. We do not receive your motion readings or derived history through developer-operated servers.
Local history and controls
Derived history, including measured time, reminder events and time within your reference range, stays locally for 90 days. You can delete it from the app menu. Your reference, reminder settings and selected theme are also stored on this Mac. You can pause tracking, snooze reminders or set quiet hours.
When you export a week as CSV, you choose where to save or share the file. The destination’s privacy practices apply. Device backups and exported copies are controlled separately from deleting the app’s history.
Apple services and permissions
Compatible headphones and macOS provide the motion readings used by the app. Only system banners require notification permission; declining it does not disable tracking or screen glow. App-managed glow and sound may still appear during Focus. Choose System banner to follow macOS notification settings.
The Mac App Store handles downloading and purchasing TiltCue under Apple’s privacy information. We do not receive payment-card details. TiltCue has no subscriptions or in-app purchases.
Limitations and responsible use
TiltCue is not a medical app or medical device. Readings and reminders can be inaccurate or missed, depending on the headset, its fit, your movements, reference, settings, firmware and macOS.
TiltCue only estimates changes in head tilt from compatible headphone-motion data. It does not measure spinal alignment or whole-body posture, provide health assessments, diagnose, treat, prevent or monitor medical conditions, or replace professional medical advice. A missing reminder does not mean your position is safe or healthy.
You are solely responsible for choosing compatible equipment, setting your reference and reminders, and deciding how to use and interpret TiltCue’s cues. Use your own judgment and do not rely on TiltCue for medical decisions or safety-critical purposes. This does not limit rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Support and changes
If you contact contact@valorem.ing, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. This voluntary correspondence is separate from app data. You can use that address for privacy questions or requests about your support correspondence.
We will update this policy and its effective date if practices change. Our website privacy policy applies when browsing this site.
