Israel Mucharsky
1951 - 1970 • 'Srulik'
Son of Yaakov and Ita. Born on January 31, 1951, in Kfar Saba. He studied in Binyamina and was known as an exceptional student and athlete. Israel was a gentle, sensitive soul, noble and humble, with kindness always reflecting in his eyes.
He enlisted in the IDF in May 1969, serving in the Paratroopers. He loved his country fiercely. On June 25, 1970, Israel fell in the line of duty during operational activity on the Lebanese border. His commander wrote: "Israel was a dedicated soldier who performed his duties flawlessly."
